Common name: whipcord, hebe veronica, ochre whipcord hebe
Family: Plantaginaceae
Leaf: ochre-yellow, dense, very tiny, scale-like, opposite, prickly, tightly bound to stem, dense, deltoid, entire, thread-like
Flowers: racemes of small white flowers, blooming July-Sept.
Habit: upright, arching shrub; Form: rounded
Height: 2-5'; Spread: 3-5'
Culture: Plant in full sun to part shade in average, moist, well-drained soils. Reasonably drought- hardy once established.
Uses: In containers, or on slopes, solo specimen
Origin: Australia, New Zealand
